347 SBF

Small block Ford (SBF) was introduced by Ford in 1962 as part of Ford “Total Performance.” The Ford Windsor design succeeded the Ford Y-block engine family rendering the latter obsolete for performance purposes. These motors were originally produced at Ford’s Windsor, Ontario engine plant. From 1969, the Ford small blocks were produced in Cleveland, Ohio.
